ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT – STOCK

As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll assist in the smooth running of the section ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Let’s hammer out the detail
Our Accounts Payable team ensures that all bills are paid on time and to full, from stationery and services to products in our catalogue. This exciting position will give you a strong grounding in our highly successful and commercial business. From matching stock invoices to automated Goods Receipt Notes, to providing solutions to the daily clearance of invoice expectations, you’ll always ensure accuracy and promptness. Developing strong working relationships with suppliers and internal departments alike, you’ll liaise with suppliers to provide resolutions to queries, and complete payments in line with payment terms and the prompt payment code.
· Able to show a real talent for prioritising and maintaining work processes even when under pressure
· Someone who prides themselves on their interpersonal skills and shows real drive and self-motivation
· Flexible and able to adapt your working style
· Detail focused, with a real passion for numbers
· Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel – this plays a major part in the role
